Third Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event Aims to Surpass $42,000 Raised Last Year
On Monday, October 6th, from 4–8 PM, Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill in East Islip will once again host its Third Annual All Boobs Matter Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser. This heartfelt event is dedicated to supporting both the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition and the Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance, with 100% of net proceeds donated to these organizations.
At the heart of the fundraiser is Chef Mike Landesberg, who has turned his own breast cancer diagnosis into a mission to spread awareness and rally the community. Last year’s event raised an incredible $42,000, and this year, Chef Mike and his team are determined to surpass that number with the help of local supporters.
Dinner, Drinks, and Community Spirit at All Boobs Matter
The fundraiser will feature two seating’s for dinner at 4 PM and 6 PM, both of which have already sold out thanks to the overwhelming support of the community. But there’s still plenty of opportunity to get involved—guests are encouraged to stop by for a cocktail, take part in the raffles, or enjoy the outdoor seating area, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, 100% of all the net proceeds from the restaurant will be donated to the fundraiser!
Exciting Raffles and Prizes
One of the highlights of the evening will be the raffles, which kick off between 7:30–8 PM and are expected to run for about two hours due to the sheer number of donations received. Prizes are divided into three tiers:
Tier 1: Valued under $500
Tier 2: Valued between $500–$1,000
Tier 3: Valued between $1,000–$5,000
Attendees can look forward to over 100 gift cards from local restaurants, a Weber grill, jewelry, sports memorabilia including signed baseball bats, lottery trees, wine and liquor baskets, and the coveted vacation package to Siesta Key. Even those who can’t stay for the entire event can participate, as winners not present will be contacted directly.
More Ways to Give
Beyond the raffles, the fundraiser will also include a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, jelly bean guessing game, drink specials, and gift baskets—all designed to raise as much as possible for this important cause. With every ticket purchased and every prize won, attendees are directly contributing to the fight against breast cancer.
